The North Georgia Electric Membership Corp. today reported that all but about 150 of its customers in Gordon County have had their power restored after storms hit the area Thursday night.
The electricity distributor said the Highway 53 area east of Interstate 75 in the vicinity of Fairmount had received "extensive damage."
More than 3,000 customers of NGEMC in Gordon County had lost power.
