The criminal homicide case against a Chattanooga woman accused of stabbing a 15-year-old girl to death with a pair of scissors has been moved to January.

A preliminary hearing in the case against Temekia Deshon Reed, 23, will be held Jan. 10 in General Sessions Court Judge Bob Moon's courtroom.

She is charged with criminal homicide, attempted first-degree murder and aggravated assault in connection with the death of Shaviya Vinson.

The teenager was stabbed to death during a fight on Dec. 19 that started over an unpaid babysitting bill that involved Reed's mother, according to reports.

Reed's bond is set at $1.75 million.
