MARYVILLE -- The Maryville Police Department is investigating the death of an 18-year-old man who died Sunday morning from injuries he sustained when he jumped from a moving vehicle.
A newspaper delivery driver found Michael Mize of Maryville shortly after 5 a.m. in a ditch along the 7000 block of Grandview Drive, said Maryville Police Chief Tony Crisp.
Mize was transported to Blount Memorial Hospital, where he later died.
