CLEVELAND, Tenn. - Tennessee Supreme Court Justice Sharon Lee said Thursday that the court system should be available to everyone.

She said the state Supreme Court's Access To Justice program is designed to reduce the gap in civil cases between those who can afford a lawyer and those who can not.

Justice Lee also defended Tennessee's process for selecting Supreme Court Justices and the Supreme Court's appointment of the state attorney general.

She spoke to the Cleveland Kiwanis Club.
