Tennessee business sorry for suspending Marine's mom

WOODBURY, Tenn. - A central Tennessee business has apologized for suspending a woman who answered her cell phone when her son called from Afghanistan.

Teresa Danford told WTVF-TV in Nashville that she knew about the no cell phone rule at Crane Interiors factory in Woodbury. But, Danford said, when her son, Lance Cpl. Mark Ryhne called, she didn't hesitate to answer during business hours, knowing he only had access to a satellite phone once a month.

For taking the call, the business suspended Danford for three days without pay. Crane Interiors General Manager Chris Anderson apologized to Danford for the suspension after the station aired a report on the situation on Thursday, which was followed by threats and harassing phone calls.

Danford says she'll go back to work on Monday.
