The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's basketball team earned its third straight Southern Conference win tonight, beating UNC Greensboro 72-63 at McKenzie Arena.
The Lady Mocs (7-8, 4-2) also handed the Spartans (8-5, 5-1) third first league loss of the season.
Despite an off night from the field (7 of 17), Whitney Hood led all scorers with 18 points and grabbed a career high 13 rebounds. Kylie Lambert added 14 points and eight rebounds and Kayla Christopher and Tenisha Townsend had 12 points each.
The Lady Mocs host Elon at 6 p.m. Monday.
