Bryan College students, faculty work on service projects for King holiday

DAYTON, Tenn. - Nearly 700 Bryan College faculty, staff, alumni and students participated in the school's 7th annual Martin Luther King Day community service observance today.

Volunteers went to "look for opportunities" to serve the community, President Stephen Livesay said before the crowd dispersed.

Projects at local churches, buildings and to benefit the elderly in Dayton, Spring City, Cleveland, Chattanooga and Soddy-Daisy will be started or completed by this afternoon.
