July 5th, 2011 by Staff Report in Local - Breaking News

Police are looking for Johnny McKibben III, who they believe shot a Chattanooga man in the leg during a drug deal, according to Chattanooga Police Department Sgt. Jerri Weary.

Timothy Hodges, 21, of 4706 Deanne Lane, called police from his apartment after he was shot. He later told officers he had gotten money from a Hixson Bank of America, then taken it back to his home for a marijuana drug deal with McKibben, 24, also of the Deanne Lane address. McKibben then pulled a gun and shot Hodges as Hodges tried to run away, police were told.

McKibben faces a charge of especially aggravated robbery.

Police are asking anyone with information about McKibben to call 423-698-2525.
