Tennessee auto detailer selected to help restore Air Force One

A local auto detailer will experience a "once in a lifetime opportunity" as he travels to Seattle this week to help preserve the historic Boeing 707 that served as Air Force One.

Terrance Morton has been operating Auto Day Spa, a Knoxville-based mobile detail service, for 13 years. Morton got his start in the industry while working and training in a body shop. From there, he opened Auto Day Spa in 1998.

"We offer everything from maintenance packages, like a wash and vacuum, to complete paint restoration. We can fix scratches and marks and make paint jobs look as good as they possibly can, but within budget," Morton said.
