Chattanooga chasing Tucson for No. 1 in "Best Town Ever" voting

Chattanooga stands in second place in Outside Magazine's online contest to find the "Best Town Ever."

Less than a week into the three-week contest, Tuscon, Ariz., leads among the 10 finalists with 1,895 votes. Chattanooga is in second place with 1,194 votes.

According to a news release, the list represents "dream cities that offer a balance of real culture, perfect scenery, a reasonable cost of living, and easy access to the outdoors."
