An 18-year-old from McMinn County was charged with murder today in connection with his father's death last year.
Curtis Jordan III was arrested at a Roane County residence and charged with first-degree murder, said Tennessee Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Kristin Helm.
Curtis Jordan II, 42, was found shot to death in his home in Riceville, Tenn. on Jan. 10, 2010, Helm said. After he was found, the TBI violent crime response team began to investigate the crime scene along with the McMinn sheriff's department, she said.
At the time of the murder, Curtis Jordan III was a juvenile, she said.
He was booked into McMinn County jail this afternoon.
