A man is in critical condition with life threatening injuries after a hit and run incident Monday night.
Witnesses say a man was in the middle of the road at 2600 Dodson Avenue when he was hit by a dark minivan traveling northbound around 9 p.m., Chattanooga police said.
The minivan never stopped, witnesses told police.
The victim was taken to Erlanger Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
Police said they believe alcohol may be a factor in the crash.
