MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Despite struggling for much of the game at the free throw line, Lake County connected when it mattered most.

In a game today that neither team led by more than four in the second half, the Falcons made their final six free throws to claim a 66-62 victory over the Chattanooga School for Arts and Sciences in the Class A state tournament quarterfinals at Middle Tennessee State University.

CSAS led by two with one minute remaining but after Lake County tied the game on Ricky Boyd's jumper, the Patriots turned it over on their next two possessions and the Falcons scored their final six points at the foul line.
