Hundreds show up for Job Fair

Over 300 potential applicants showed up to the Chattanooga State job fair where the primary draw was Wacker chemical.

Jeff Zierenberg, manager of human resources and training, told potential applicants that the job was not for the weak hearted. "You'll have to go to school 8 hours per day and you'll have to study" he said.

It's not a requirement to speak German for the job but both American engineers and their German counterparts will take multi-cultural training.

Engineers will be paid $15.00 an hour to start but can earn up to $21.00 an hour based on performance.
