An illegal wildlife case against three local men and a Virginia man has been moved to May 16.

Defendants Tim Lunsford, 36; Derek Schrader, 20; and Michael Clark, 32 turned themselves in and posted $1,000 bonds on March 2.

Police charged the trio with illegal possesion of wildlife after TWRA officials allege they took venemous snakes from the home of Wade Westbrook hours after his death from a snakebite.

Chuck Hurd, 38, faces 48 wildlife law violations.

Agents allege he transported dozens of snakes into Tennessee illegally, one of which may have bitten Westbrook.
