RINGGOLD, Ga. - In the school's first sporting event since being hit by a tornado on April 27, the Ringgold High School baseball team clubbed Riverwood 13-3 in the first game of their Georgia Class AAA first-round state playoff series today. The series is being played at Heritage High School, Ringgold's crosstown rival. Caleb Jones was 3-for-3 with two home runs and six runs batted in for the Tigers, who are trying to finish the series in a second game tonight. If Riverwood wins, the teams will play again Saturday.
