Jeffrey Miller, 47, was charged with aggravated robbery after he allegedly
robbed Barnes & Noble Sunday night, according to a Chattanooga police arrest
report.

Jeffrey Miller, of Chattanooga, who was clad in orange, approached a cashier at the bookstore at 2100 Hamilton Place and said, "I have a gun, open your drawer."
The cashier handed Miller all of the money. Miller left the store and began walking south across the parking lot, according to the report.
Police were able to obtain a description and apprehend Miller. Witnesses positively identified him as the bandit and the money was recovered.
Miller was charged with aggravated robbery and possession of a controlled substance.
His next court date is set for June 1.
Miller has a prior arrest record of charges including theft and aggravated robbery dating back to 2001, according to court records.
