Catoosa County officials will close Cherokee Valley Road in Ringgold, Ga., to nonresidents on Saturdays and Sundays until further notice.
In a statement released this morning, officials said the closure would help "expedite and assist in the recovery efforts from the recent tornado." The request to close the road came from the county board of commissioners.
