Chattanooga: Election Commission says mayoral recall can proceed; Littlefield considers challenge

POLL: Do you think Mayor Littlefield should be recalled?

The Hamilton County Election Commission voted this morning to certify a recall petition for Chattanooga Mayor Ron Littlefield.

The commission voted 2-1 to certify the recall. Commission member James Anderson abstained.

Littlefield attorney Hall North said, "We'll consider asking the Court of Appeals to enjoin the action the Election Commission has taken and perhaps seek contempt."
