Mocs blow late lead in season-ending loss to Wofford

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga's season finale had the feel of so many other Mocs games this season. Facing No. 12 Wofford, UTC had a fourth-quarter lead before seeing it disappear.

Wofford quarterback Mitch Allen dove across the goal line from the 1-yard line with 37 seconds left to lift the Terriers to a 28-27 win - a win that will surely early Wofford a playoff spot.

For the Mocs it was their third 28-27 loss of the season and the fifth of five Southern Conferences losses in which UTC had a lead or was in the game until the final minute. The Mocs finished 5-6 after going 6-5 in coach Russ Huesman's first two seasons.
