Four Vols face suspensions

Four Tennessee football players have been suspended indefinitely for violating of team rules.

Receiver Matt Milton, linebacker Robert Nelson and defensive backs C.J. Fleming and Nick Branum were all suspended, UT associate athletic director for communication Jimmy Stanton confirmed Wednesday night.

There was no singular incident that led to the suspensions.

The 6-foot-5, 210-pound Milton is the most notable player involved. The sophomore has one catch for 12 yards in six games this season and did not play last week against Vanderbilt.

Nelson, a redshirt sophomore, and Fleming, a fifth-year senior, haven't played in a game yet this season. Branum is a redshirt sophomore walk-on from Knoxville who's played in three games on special teams this season.
