CANCUN, Mexico - The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's basketball team had several chances to cap off big comeback against Cincinnati today, but the Lady Mocs couldn't get it done in the closing seconds.
The Bearcats (5-0) escaped with a 51-50 win in the Cancun Challenge at the Moon Palace Resort after UTC (2-3) couldn't find the basket with any of its shots with less than 10 seconds left.
Kylie Lambert led UTC with 16 points and 13 rebounds and hit a pair of 3-pointers in the final five minutes as the Lady Mocs rallied from a 12-point second-half deficit.
