The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has identified the woman whose naked, dead body was found Tuesday behind a BP gas station in Crab Orchard, Tenn.

The woman was Summer Nicole Nelms, 35, of Knoxville, according to TBI spokeswoman Kristin Helm.

This morning a special session of the Cumberland County grand jury was assembled and handed down a first-degree murder indictment on Alan Stacy Rogers, 32, of 154 Harris Street, Pines, N.C.

Rogers is in custody without bond in a North Carolina jail.

Rogers is a truck driver from North Carolina who investigators believe picked up Nelms in Knoxville, killed her, then dumped her body.

A preliminary autopsy revealed that Nelms died of multiple blunt force trauma and stab wounds.
