Man shot in arm on Long Street in Chattanooga

Chattanooga police are on the scene of a shooting incident at 2616 Long St. in which a man has been shot in the arm, according to department spokeswoman Sgt. Jerri Weary.

Although the circumstances of the shooting are not yet known, it appears that the victim's injuries are non-life threatening, Weary said. Police do have a suspect in custody and are interviewing witnesses to determine exactly what happened, Weary said.
