Tennessee man running for president with help from YouTube and a comfortable chair

David E. Schuster has no campaign staff or money. He gets no media attention and his only marketing push is a sign outside his Blount County home that he made from scrap materials. But he wants to be your president. (Robert Wilson)

Count David E. Schuster among those who want to be your president.

Except for the fact that he has no campaign treasury, no staff, no 50-state strategy and his name will appear on no ballot, his chances are as good as anyone else's.

What he does have is a platform and a sign he made from scrap materials and placed out in front of his Blount County home. And a passel of YouTube videos.

A native of Lunenburg, Mass., Schuster, 53, acknowledges his position as a "very long shot" to be elected. Still, he says, "I am very serious."
