4 arrested in beating death of Red Bank man

Three teenagers and one 27-year-old man have been charged in connection with the fatal beating of a Red Bank man over the weekend.

Zachary Hughes, 19, Jeremy Reinig, 27, and Markel Mitchell, 16, have each been charged with one count of criminal homicide and one count of especially aggravated burglary in the death of 27-year-old Jordan Collins of 3710 Redding Road, Red Bank police said today.

Hughes, Mitchell and Lorenzo Bell, 19, have each been charged with one count of fraudulent use of a credit card, police said.

All four live in Red Bank, police said.

A little after 8 a.m. Saturday, police found the body of Collins lying in a pool of blood inside his home, police said. He'd been beaten to death.
