The Chattanooga Police Department's Special Investigations Unit and Regulatory Bureau conducted a gambling raid at a Chattanooga restaurant Wednesday, said spokeswoman Sgt. Jerri Weary.

Officers seized more than $4,700 and two illegal gambling machines from Walt's Fireplace Restaurant at 6238 Bonny Oaks Drive, Weary said.

The restaurant's owner, Tracey Farrow, was cited for gambling promotion and possession of gambling devices, Weary said.

The fire marshal's office, building, electrical and health inspectors and the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission also responded to the scene and found several violations, Weary said.
