Sequoyah Nuclear Plant is located near Soddy-Daisy.The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has lifted the "white" safety concerns at Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, TVA officials announced this morning.
The move means the power plant has returned to "green" status by federal regulators.
NRC put Sequoyah on "white" status after one of the plant reactors tripped five times in less than 18 months. NRC says there should be no more than three shutdowns in that period of time.
