Chattanooga police received a bomb threat at 6:24 a.m. today for East Lake Academy at 2700 E. 34th St.
Sgt. Wayne Jefferson said traffic will be closed off for one block surrounding the school perimeter and Hamilton County Sheriff's deputies are assisting.
Police have closed the school, with a possible opening at 10 a.m., according to a police release.
