3 arrested in Trenton, Ga., after meth lab found

Three people were arrested in connection to a meth lab in Trenton, Ga., authorities said.

Megan Bartley, 22, Jeremiah Qualls, 31, and Rene Jimenez, Jr., 23, were arrested after the Lookout Mountain Drug Task Force was alerted to a possible meth lab at 6640 Highway 136 East, a news release said. Twelve "shake and bake" labs were found at the scene, the release said.

Bartley was charged with manufacturing with the intent to distribute, illegal possession of a controlled substance and possession of meth, the release said.

Qualls was charged with unlawful possession of ephedrine, possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to use, while Jimenez was charged with tampering with evidence, the news release said.
