Wrigley today marked 100 years of Lifesavers production along with the completion of a expansion at its plant in Chattanooga.

Martin Radvan, global president of the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co., told a group of employees and officials at the plant that the company has seen growth in the Lifesavers category.

"We look forward to the next 100 years," he said.

Wrigley recently completed a $23.1 million expansion at its Jersey Pike plant. The company now employs about 360 workers in Chattanooga, including seasonal employees.
