It may be called the Balloon Factory, but balloons aren't the only thing for sale at the party supplier located at 4415 Brainerd Road.
In addition to its new costume department, the store recently added professional floral services and expanded its wedding inventory to meet a need store owners said they saw in the market.

"We already had a great wedding selection and since we have Lisa here, we decided we might as well put a small floral package together so people could get everything in one place."
A Balloon Factory sales associate, Lisa Peponis has also been a professional floral designer for more than 13 years. She said she is combining her expertise and the store's resources to provide brides with fresh and silk flower packages beginning at $300.
"I have always loved flowers, but I especially love helping people have that special wedding," she said.
Peponis said she also hopes to expand the store's floral design business to include more prom flowers and arrangements. The store currently takes orders for floral products that can either be picked up by the customer or set up on site by staff the day of the event.
A longtime wedding supplier, the store also carries a wide array of tablecloths, paper products, flatware, cake toppers, guest books, ring pillows, bachelorette party supplies and a recently expanded variety of customizable invitations.
"We've always done personalized invitations and paper products, but this is the first time we've branched out and done even more colors," said Rumph. "We are excited to help people realize a dream with their wedding planning."
