Walker County robberyWalker County Sheriff's Office deputies are looking for four people who robbed a convenient store this weekend using an assault rifle and hand guns.
About 8:54 p.m., four suspects barged into the Discount Marked at 1430 Wilson Road and robbed the clerk, said Sheriff Steve Wilson in a news release.
One suspect carried an assault rifle and the others had handguns, Wilson said. Three customers were at the counter playing the lottery during the robbery, he said.
Police are asking for the witnesses to come forward, Wilson said.
