For the second time in three days a car has run into a house.

Shortly before 8 a.m. today, a vehicle struck at house at 415 Glenwood Drive, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Fire Department.

Capt. Joey Smith with Engine 5 said all of the occupants in the car, two adults and two children, were out of the vehicle when his crew arrived on the scene, the news release stated.

Damage to the house appeared to be minimal, but the impact injured three of the car's occupants, according to the news release.

Smith said the two adults had head and ankle injuries and were transported by Hamilton County EMS to Erlanger hospital. The child reportedly had a head injury and was transported to Children's Hospital at Erlanger. The cause of the accident is being investigated by the Chattanooga Police Department, the news release stated.
