Prosecutors have filed a motion to dismiss a murder charge against Tyrone Carmichael in a shooting that occurred last year at the Okie Dokie Mart on Roanoke Avenue.

Carmichael has been released on his own recognizance bond. He has to return to court Tuesday to see if prosecutors will proceed on other charges related to the incident.

Police arrested Carmichael and charged him in May 2011 with first-degree murder and unlawful weapons possession in connection with the April 5, 2011 shooting death of Cordarrius Armour, 23, at the Okie Dokie Mart on Roanoke Avenue.
