Daughter of Chattanooga judicial candidate arrested for domestic assault

The daughter of a prominent Chattanooga attorney, who is running for Hamilton County Sessions Court, was arrested Monday on a charge of domestic assault.

Christina Starnes, 23, was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail where her bond was set at $500.

She is the daughter of Gary Starnes, one of several candidates vying for the vacant Sessions Court judge post.
