Fire that killed Rossville man ruled accidental

A fire that killed a 59-year-old man in Rossville, Ga., appears to be accidental, state officials say.

Robert F. Goode, at 59 Osceola Ave., died in a fire Tuesday evening about 6 p.m.

Georgia Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner Ralph Hudgens said today that investigators were unable to determine the exact cause of the fire, but they believe Goode was smoking while using oxygen equipment.
