Chattanooga shooting victim identified

June 8th, 2012 by Staff Report in Local - Breaking News

A 39-year-old man shot Wednesday afternoon in Foxwood Heights has been identified.

Corey Taylor is still listed in critical condition after he was shot in his home at 3004 Pope Drive.

Investigators believe that this was not a random shooting, but that Taylor had been targeted, said Chattanooga Police spokesman Officer Nathan Hartwig.

It is still unclear whether the assault on Taylor is connected to a 17-year-old man who was hospitalized for gunshot wounds around the same time.
