Four drug cases reported in Jackson County, Ala.

Four separate Jackson County, Ala., drug investigations began between Tuesday and Wednesday, according to Chief Deputy Rocky Harnan.

On Wednesday an Alaska woman was charged with chemical endangerment of a child when police found a meth lab in her Scottsboro, Ala., hotel room. Catherine Marshall was also charged with manufacture and possession of controlled substances.

On Tuesday, Alabama Game and Fish officers were citing a man for four hunting violations when they found a stash of marijuana and meth, as well as drug paraphernalia, in his possession. Upon searching Gary Ball's home in Stevenson, Ala., they found four shake-and-bake meth labs.

Also on Tuesday, officers were approaching a Dutton, Ala., trailer residence when two individuals fled the area into the woods. Officers found discarded IDs, meth and drug paraphernalia while searching for the pair. Upon searching the trailer, officers said they found chemicals required to manufacture meth. No arrests have been made.

On the same day, police arrested a teenager for driving under the influence and possession of marijuana. Dustin Kelderman was released on a $1,000 bond.
