A home was completely destroyed by a fire early this morning on Birchwood Pike, according to Hamilton County Emergency Services.
Highway 58 Volunteer Fire Department responded and arrived on scene to find the two-story home fully engulfed in flames after a motorist contacted authorities.
The home has been in foreclosure for about a year and a half. The home, which was deemed a total loss, was valued at $75,000, according to a released statement.
It's still unclear what caused the fire. No one was injured.
