TVA has announced it will close a lane on the bridge that passes over Chickamauga Dam Monday through Wednesday from 8:30 a.m.to 3 p.m.
The one lane to be closed on the four-lane bridge will be that in the direction of an inspection team that will be working as it conducts an inspection of the bridge.
Work crews are required to have one northbound lane and one southbound lane closed, but not at the same time, a news release said.
The release said motorists can expect traffic delays and may want to seek other routes.
