Veterans Day concert moved to Ringgold City Hall

Ringgold is moving its free Veterans Day Celebration concert featuring the Jericho Brass to the city hall lawn, a news release states.

"Last year we had such a large turnout for the event that the [Ringgold] Depot was full, and with the initial interest shown in attending this year and the blessing of predicted good weather we decided to move to the lawn of Ringgold City Hall," city manager Dan Wright said. "We will have 300 chairs set up on the lawn, but feel free to bring your own lawn chair or seat cushion and enjoy the concert."

The concert, part of the city's annual Fall Festival of Flags, is Sunday at 3 p.m.

Soft drinks and water will be for sale at the event, Wright said in the release.

The Jericho Brass is a 28-piece traditional British-style brass band. The event is sponsored by the Ringgold Downtown Development Authority.
