Terriers lead Mocs after third

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Wofford leads the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football team 10-3 after three quarters today at Gibbs Stadium.

The No. 14-ranked Terriers got a 42-yard Kasey Redfern field goal in the first quarter and a nine-yard touchdown run by Donovan Johnson in the second. UTC was able to respond with a 26-yard Henrique Ribeiro field goal to make it 10-3.

On the second play of the Terriers' opening series, All-American fullback Eric Breitenstein got free for a 41-yard gain that made him the Terriers' all-time leading rusher.

The Mocs had just 26 yards of offense in the first quarter and gained 110 in the second.

Wofford clinches a share of the Southern Conference title with a win and UTC remains in the hunt for a share if it wins.
