There's no wedding challenge too big for Veronica Seaman, owner and president of Veo Weddings and Events.
After starting her own wedding and event planning business in 2006, the Harrison resident has done everything from mason jars and hay chandeliers to creating custom stages and finding a Tennessee Vols-inspired dance floor.

From small weddings to large scale alumni events at Notre Dame High School, the small local event company has done it all."We really concentrate on event design," said Seaman. "Clients come to us and a lot of them are really busy and can't put the whole picture together or don't have those crafting hours. We can paint the picture for them and fill in all the details."
With around 60 weddings under her belt, Seaman said she and her small staff are committed to making a bride's dream come true while maintaining a completely stress-free environment.
"I really try to be the planner that is calm, cool and collected the day of the event," she said. "There is always a solution for any problem, and if a problem arises, it's my job to figure out what it is and take a step back to determine the answer."
Despite the long days that often last from 5 a.m. until after midnight the day of each event, wedding and event planning is what Seaman said she knows she is meant to do. It's the thing that really makes her "come alive."
"It's the craziest thing," she said. "After a 20-hour day when I finally get a moment to breathe and watch the party, when I see the bride and groom dancing and getting to enjoy their day, that's the moment when it's all worth it."
Veo provides several different package options for brides that range from $600 to $2,500. Customizable packages are also available.
According to Seaman, some of the main reasons to partner with a wedding coordinator are to have a stress-free wedding day for the bride and wedding party, assistance on staying within budget and help in selecting the best vendors for the couple's special event.
"When someone else is in your head and knows your vision, it helps everything go the way you want it to go," she said.
