The Fort Oglethorpe City Council today voted to oust Councilman Charles Sharrock after hearing allegations of sexual harassment against him.

At a morning hearing, the council heard testimony from a detective who accused Sharrock of sexual harassment. She said she had felt intimidated after she complained about his behavior.

Fort Oglethorpe Detective Tammy Davis accused Sharrock in October of rubbing her back and kissing her on the cheek at the police station.

Davis is the third female employee to complain about Sharrock since 2008.
