NASHVILLE - Three Nashville firefighters have resigned during an investigation into allegations of sexual activity at a fire station.

The fire department said in a release Thursday that investigators with the police department determined that there was inappropriate misconduct on possibly multiple occasions involving women at the fire station in the Bordeaux neighborhood of Nashville.

According to the fire department, there were allegations that women stripped and had sex for money with firefighters. Six firefighters were placed on administrative leave.

Charges were pending for numerous policy violations, the fire department said, and firefighters Quincy Corbitt, Kerry Sales and Jason Copland resigned. One firefighter, Darrin Bell, has been cleared of any involvement. The investigation and final report are expected to be completed in the next few weeks.
