Two women, man arrested on drug charges in DeKalb County, Ala.

Two women and a man in DeKalb County, Ala., have been arrested on several drug charges each, authorities said.

Heather Dowdy was charged with possession of a controlled substance, second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a news release from the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office.

Brian Maloy was charged with possession of a controlled substance, second-degree receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia, the release said, while Natasha Abbott was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Thursday, law enforcement served a warrant for probation violation at a home on County Road 405 in the Rodentown community, the release said. They were also investigating numerous complaints about excessive traffic coming and going from the home at all hours of the day.

While searching the home, officers found more than 10 grams of ice methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana, a stolen shotgun and $2,400 in cash, the release said.
