Armed robbers strike 2 Chattanooga homes

Chattanooga police are looking for suspects in two weekend robberies.

The first happened about 9:30 p.m. Saturday at a house in the 2100 block of East 28th Street.

The homeowners told police that four black males came in and demanded money. Two of the robbers carried handguns, the residents said.

The robbers wore pantyhose over their faces, black hoodies, black pants with lots of pockets and black gloves.

The second robbery call came in about 11:30 p.m. Saturday for a house in the 100 block of Sequoia Drive.

Two black males entered the home and demanded money, then left with one resident's vehicle. The vehicle was found later.

The first robber was described as a thin man with dreadlocks, 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 20 to 30 years old. He was wearing green bib overalls, a black stocking cap and a blue bandanna.

The second robber was between 6 feet and 6 feet, 2 inches tall, medium build, 20 to 30 years old. He was wearing green coveralls.

Both suspects were armed and wore gloves and Air Jordan-type shoes.
