Five arrested in Jackson County, Ala., on drug charges

Five people were arrested at a North Houston Street residence in Scottsboro, Ala., on Friday on drug charges by the Jackson County Sheriff's Office.

Korisa Haven Manning, 22, Jonathan Maurice Nicholson, 19, Nicholas Chubb, 20, Marrisa Culver, 18, and Jessica Finley, 18, all of Scottsboro, were arrested.

After being taken to the Jackson County Jail, a news release said Chubb was also found to have added amounts of marijuana.

Manning was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana secind degree and unlawful possession of controlled substances (crack cocaine). Manning is in the jail on $5,500 bond.

Nicholson continues in jail on a $15,000 bond after being charged with unlawful possession of controlled substances (crack cocaine), unlawful possession of controlled substances (Xanax), unlawful possession of controlled substances (hydrocodone), unlawful possession of marijuana first degree, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and bond revocation. No bond was set for bond revocation.

Chubb was released on $12,000 bond after being charged with unlawful possession of controlled substances (crack cocaine), unlawful possession of marijuana second degree and promoting prison contraband second degree.

Culver was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana second degree and unlawful possession of controlled substances (crack cocaine). Culver was released on $5,500 bond.

Finley was also released on $5,500 bond after being charged with unlawful possession of marijuana second degree and unlawful possession of controlled substances (crack cocaine).
