The Rev. Paul McDaniel and the Rev. John Edwards were among eight Chattanooga residents honored Saturday for their contributions to the civil rights movement. They talk about their recollections of those days.

The Reverend Paul McDaniel talks about being college classmates with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and being at the front of the crowd during his speech at the March on Washington in 1963.
The Reverend John Edwards remembers escorting a black six-year-old girl to school when Nashville schools were desegregated in 1957.
